Perseus and Medusa, Part I: The Origin of Perseus

King Acrisius of Argos had a beautiful daughter named Danae.
Unfortunately the Oracle had a dire prediction.
"One day your grandson will kill you."
"Oh yeah? Well what if I keep Danae locked in a tower forever?
I won't *have* any grandkids now!"
But Zeus had other ideas. He arrived in a shower of light . . .
. . . and totally hooked up with Danae.
And she gave birth to a son named Perseus
